How soon can I cancel my appoinment?
You must cancel your appointment within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment date and time. Please contact us via a telephone to cancel or reschedule your visit.
Are injectables painful?
You should expect a little discomfort. The needle feels like a bee sting and the pain goes away almost immediately. For a more comfortable experience we use a numbing cream and a very light touch.
How should I prepare for my injectables appointment?
In the weeks prior to getting fillers or Botox, watch what you consume!
Avoid NSAIDs-non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, such as Aspirin, Naproxen, Aleve, Motrin, Advil, and Excedrin. Also avoid St John’s Wort or high doses of vitamin E/Omega-3 supplements, for 7-10 days prior to injections, due to substances which can contribute to increased bruising or bleeding at the injection site.
Botox is contraindicated for patients currently taking antibiotics.
PRP Contraintidactions: taking Warfarin (or other blood thinning meds, such as Aspirin and other NSAIDs); infection of any sort; people treated with Roaccutane; cancer and chemotherapy; immunosupression; pregnancy and breastfeeding; any clotting factor blood diseases; Diabetes; Herpes, or any other chronic conditions.
What should I expect after having injectables?
Recovery time varies for each patient and for each type of filler injected. Your initial look after treatment with any dermal filler may include: an "overfilled" look; mild bruising; numbness or redness; swelling or hard areas at the injection areas; inflammation that can seem like an allergic reaction. Reactions will improve within a few hours or just a few days.
You should expect your final results to be achieved 2-3 weeks after an injection.
✔ Avoid intense physical activity for the first 24-48 hours to minimize swelling and bruising.
✔ Clear your schedule, relax and take time to ice and massage your face.
✔ Avoid any social plans 7-10 days following your injection.
